    Trigger Test

    Remington’s grooved “Walker” style triggers have been in use (especially w/ military and LE) since late 40s, however that’s what drove most of Remington’s lawsuits. I haven’t had an issues personally, but safest bet with a 700 is don’t cycle the bolt / chamber a round until you’re ready to rock.

    Issue with Christensen arms

    Out of curiosity, do you have a brake on the gun? If so, remove it and see if it groups up any tighter. I’ve had a bum SF brake do this to me on a new GAP gun before. Gun was shooting 2+ MOA and I was livid. I took the brake off and it immediately started grouping ~ 3/8 MOA. Good luck.

    Scope recommendations for 22lr squirrel gun?

    I’ve got a Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10x40 on my CZ 457 and I love it. Small / light and has the magnification to be very accurate when needed. Aesthetically it seems to fit the gun too.

    Scope for 300wsm

    Either Leupold or Nightforce would both be good options. I think the NF NXS line is still fantastic and you can find them reasonably on eBay. The last Trijicon I picked up was a BRICK and the glass disappointed. Resold it immediately. That was about 3 years ago so not sure how much their optics...

    I’d agree re going MIL. Not clear on your budget but NF makes great glass that will last / take a beating.
