    Off-road Stroller

The BOB via a 2nd hand place like Facebook marketplace is good. Tougher terrain and the Osprey backpack is awesome. Did lots of big hikes in the National Parks out west with the 2 year old in that. Easy on the back and comfy enough they’ll fall asleep up top. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How do you store your gear?

Like everyone else here - clear stackable bins. That said, if you have a down sleeping bag, you don't want to store it compressed. So I hang my bag in the closet from the loop on it. Not sure if that's exactly the right way but the loft has always been good when doing that.

    CO early rifle hunt

Great story and pictures. The camp location looks pretty unreal.

    Whitetail pants

Eddie Bauer Guide Pro Pants are my go to. Buy them on sale as you can usually find them under $50 at various times a year. Buy them with some space for layers and you can wear them in a Texas Summer all the way up to a winter hunt.

    Gila Mule Deer Help

We drew a unit within Gila Wilderness for Mule Deer for an early November rifle hunt. I know its not the most storied mule deer area, but excited none the less to go experience some new country and get back into the wilderness. Having never hunted the area before, I was hoping to see if anyone...

How much do you all actually hunt?

I think in all, I get about 15-20 days a years. Mostly whitetail and dove. Not enough time for much more.

Is ammo availability gonna affect your hunting season?

I’m going to have trouble with my hog rifle as I use a 300 blackout and can’t find anything local. I didn’t stock up on this one pre pandemic unfortunately. Plenty of deer rounds though. Still surprising seeing even the normal deer rounds like 30-30 and .308 be completely empty at the store...

    The Rokslide Stock Traders Thread

Whoever put HPNN on here a few weeks ago - thank you. Total bullshit stock imo but its been a cool little run over the past week.

    The Rokslide Stock Traders Thread

Same here. I liked it at $36 last week and thought yesterday's close was a nice entry point. Looks good today but who knows with the volatility of late moving forward.

    Bed mattresses at home

I have a pretty awful back (lots of ruptured discs) and we bought a Tuft and Needle Mint. Been outstanding thus far and would recommend. More on the firm side which I prefer.

Anyone looking at PLTR with the drop over the last week and the bounce in pre-market?

Anybody else try sleep training their kids?

We have a pretty headstrong two year old now who didn't want to sleep through the night without a bottle. For us it came down to a long weekend when he was about 16 months where we just had to cold turkey him through the night. Probably just as rough on the parents as kids. For reference, at...

Colorado advice for a new hunter

I think the best piece of advice is to find a group partner or group to hunt with. Having the right people around you is key for when you’re going through the suck. Whether that be waking up cold and tired or getting up that final incline. Pick guys that are committed like you and you trust. I...
