    Bare shaft tuning a recurve

    This chart has worked very well for me over the years. IMO, most people shooting trad bows are way overspined with their arrows. ASTM and AMO are 2 different measurements. AMO is what trad shooters should use, IMO. It’s worked too many times for me to be convinced otherwise.

    Haven’t seen anyone list Wapiti and Palmer recurves. Both are amazing shooters, I struggle sticking with one or the other for the entire season. Both bowyers are Colorado guys and both have been putting out recurves a long, long time. Can’t go wrong with either IMO
