    Wise Owl Camping Rain Tarp

From what I can tell it seems well sewn. A little on the heavy side to pack in as a glassing structure, but it looks great for hammock camping. I would say it is sturdy (in a good way).

    Wise Owl Camping Rain Tarp

Just got mine today, it is a hexagon. I think the square design is the “lite” option of the tarp.

Low budget backpacking quilt or bag

I've used this quilt as well for ~10 nights ranging from 70 degrees to 15 degrees and it is fantastic. Extremely light and very comfortable. Packs down really small. Great for the price. Any of the Sierra Designs bags and quilts perform well. Cloud 20 is a great zipperless bag option.

    Upland shotguns

I have a Franchi Instinct LX 20 gauge that I use for just about anything (quail, dove, waterfowl, squirrels) and I love it. I would consider it middle of the road in pricing but it still feels like a quality piece and is light in the hands and a joy to swing with.

    GoHunt App

I also experienced GPS issues with the GoHunt app last fall. I tried everything I could think of to fix the issues (hard close the app, restart app, restart phone, check location services were on, etc.,) and it still showed I was several ridges over. OnX showed my location correctly. I haven't...

New day pack Mystery ranch sawtooth or pintler

I’ve got a beartooth 80 and Pintler and have used the Pintler on 3-4 day trips and just day trips. I think it packs down fine and you can compress it nicely. It has a ton of internal pockets and compartments which I like in a day pack. Y-zip isn’t an issue for me but YMMV. Lemme know if you have...

    Lightweight hat of choice?

Thanks for the great suggestions everyone! I decided on the Sitka ascent cap and it fits the bill perfectly. I might pick up one of the other suggested options in other patterns. Sndmm11, did you find that the blaze orange color for that hat you linked was actually blaze orange? I always worry...

    Lightweight hat of choice?

:ROFLMAO: I think I’m good on the shaving. Just mainly focused on the comfort and sweat-wicking that dri-fit hats provide. Figured this forum would be the most related since running hats are very light. Thanks for the suggestion Sargent! I’ll take a look…

    Lightweight hat of choice?

Anyone have any tech or dri-fit hats they prefer to wear when hiking or hunting early season? I wear a neon green tech cap when running (super light and wicks sweat) and want to find something similar for early season mule deer hunts. Seems the only option in camo is the First Lite 5 panel...

    Mystery Ranch beartooth 80 sizing

They are both bags that fit on the MR frames. The Selway seems to have been discontinued as I don't see it offered on their site anymore. Maybe someone else has a solid answer for that. The Mule is still available and is a smaller MR bag (23L) that fits on the Guidelight MT frame as well.

Switching Mystery Ranch bags on Guide light Mt frame

I did this exact same process in reverse last year (Took off Beartooth 80 and put on Pintler) and it was very easy to do. Let me know if you have other questions regarding the process or my experience with those two bags.

    Franchi Instinct SLX for upland

I shoot the Franchi LX in 20 gauge for quail and waterfowl. Really enjoy how lightweight it is and I've had zero issues after ~25 days in the field with it. I would recommend it and can only imagine the quality is consistent with the SLX
