I did the same thing a few years ago. I just dealt with the headaches for about a week and then didn’t have issues after that. If you can get through it you’ll be fine.

I’ve heard as many great things about the eld-m on game as I’ve heard horror stories of the eld-x on game. I’m going to give the eld-m’s a try this year for sure.

The eld-x might work fine at .308 velocities but there’s a ton of people that claim poor performance on game. My personal opinion is that bullet is the reason the 6.5 creedmore has the reputation it has for poor performance on game. I’ve been told the eld-x is the newer version of the sst and...
The problem is these people don’t own enough rifles in different cartridges. I’ve taken whitetails with cartridges from .22 hornet to 300 RUM and .458 socom and I have zero issues using any of those if my hunting situation is right for the ballistics of that cartridge. I’ve taken them with a...
I received a banish 30 and a 46 around aug-sep last year. They’re my first two and I’ve been happy with them so far. I’ve definitely put more rounds through the 30 from 22 lr through 300 blackout and it’s performed up to my expectations although I have nothing else to compare it to.

How have you had the burger done? I’ve heard people say this and then eat several venison burgers I’ve made while saying they can’t believe it’s venison. I add 15%-20% beef fat to my venison burger and it makes excellent burgers. The fat isn’t needed if adding to spaghetti sauce, chilli, etc...
I’ll second the Garmin Xero Pro. I purchased it for myself and it’s an amazing product that makes using a chrono quick and easy unlike all other options I’m aware of. I’ve probably chronographed more shots in the two months of having it than I did total between my pact and my magnetospeed...
I’ve never loaded .22 ammo and I’ve also never loaded birdshit. [emoji23] curious how you get it in the case. I’d assume you have to let it dry some as I can’t imagine trying to seat wet soft birdshit. [emoji23]
To stick with the original content I’ll say I’m going through woodpecker problems...
Have you contacted the fbi. Mine were approved last September at 338 days but not too long before that I emailed the fbi and they said my background check was held up and they fixed it, I don’t recall the exact wording but I received approval shortly after that.

I hope you get it soon. Waiting sucks. I received mine last September after 338 day wait from certifying. I’d be a lot more inclined to get a few more if wait times were 2 months or less although they really should be an over the counter purchase.

This is the right answer. Second best would be find a dirt cheap used one because the market will be flooded with them after many switch to the garmin.

I completely agree with everything you said. It still doesn’t mean the fast and flat cartridges are not a good choice. I’d argue they still are a good choice as the vast majority of shooters will not put in the time and effort required to fully utilize the high bc bullets and cartridges that...
