Love the VA-5 fluid head, no way you will be disappointed with the functionality of it or the value. Downside is obvious, it’s pretty bulky and a little on the heavy side.
Like a lot of people have stated, the front globe slides through the dovetail. I had to use shims to get a tight fit but once it’s in, there’s no precision adjustment besides tapping it with a drift. I was just wondering if anyone was aware of a more precise setup instead of a front sight that’s...
I installed the stuff from the gohunt article last year. This year I changed out the standard Williams peep for the “ace in the hole” integrated rail/peep so I can run QD rings when/where scopes are legal. I love the globe front sight but I HATE the dovetail ramp! Is anyone aware of a front...
Everything you just mentioned plus Chris Stapleton. Tyler Childers White House Road does it for me every time! Love WM and the 78’s. Waylon will always be king. Merle, DAC, and willie.

Ms170 small consumer saw made for storm clean up type work, might be just fine for what you need. You can find ms290/rancher 55 (54cc) all day used for 200, twice the hp and yes you could run any size bar you want. Just remember, you are always better off using the shortest bar possible. Ms290’s...
Shooting same gun, same powder and same 290 bullet. Switched from TEZ to TMZ this year, really not that much harder to load and slightly (very slightly) better performance. Really I switched for convenience, everyone locally carries the TMZ. Excellent results with both.
I’ve been trying to track down a pair of kenai pants forever! No idea why they discontinued them when they are still making the jacket. I called about a month ago and they said something similar is in the works. I would definitely take the kenais’ They are so versatile and weight/bulk is minimal.
