Grew up hunting mule deer in a big caliber, heavy bullet family. Went to college and got introduced to archery hunting and more 'scientific' methods of rifle hunting.
Looking to focus on OTC elk this fall, second time hunting during the rut so pretty fresh at the whole thing. If I kill something early, or get to the end of the season with nothing, might end up whacking a whitetail somewhere.
Biggest hunting problems I face are being a tight wad (I have conjunctive broke college student syndrome
), and some pretty bad form problems when shooting rifles.
