I know I've said this elsewhere, but if it absolutely must come out in one load (or if individual loads will exceed 100lb), there's no question that the Barney's will do the job... and with a surprising amount of comfort for the weight.
Best regards,
John
I've lived in HH Impertech for a lot of moose seasons. They've never let me down. Matter of fact there's a set rolled up under the back seat of my truck right now!
Come to think of it, that's where they've been since we moved to MT. Huh...
Best of luck on your moose hunt, and best regards.

And?
Objectively demonstrate how 1:11 will not stabilize any reliable hunting bullet fired from a .308 Win. Please also tell all the animals killed by 130-200+ gn bullets from same how not dead they are (including those in my freezer). Also, we should probably remove all the Palma and F-class...
If you're going to use the Razco in the chest rig configuration, you may want to lanyard your pistol. Neither my G20 nor G17 holster shells made it into the field... there was just no way to get retention to a trustworthy level.
Things may have changed, since I purchased; both shells were...
Until they moved production offshore, the answer could only be XtraTuffs. Someone who is in a current model could tell you if they remain the go-to boot. I'm still rocking 2 pairs of "made in USA" that are 20 and 17 years old respectively.
Good luck and best regards,
John
Barney's.
If it absolutely must come out in 1 load, it's the only way. Not the quietest, not the most streamlined, but it's been proven under ridiculous amounts of weight for decades.
Ask @BRWNBR for some of his Barney's stories...
Best regards,
John
Just read all 71 pages...Whew!
I am most excited about a stock that actually works for the way most of us hunt. And it will be going on a plain Jane .308 Tikka lite.
Thanks for putting in all the work on this, y'all.
Best regards,
John
