    Saw your post on the tikka customs. How is the recoil on the 7mm? Thinking of getting one. Will be in the factory stock for a little while. Torn between that and the savage ultralight in 300wsm.

    I dont find the recoil to be bad at all. I wouldnt want to shoot 50 rounds through it off a bench, but getting it dialed in at the range and taking shots in the field, it isnt bad at all. My other Tikka is a .338 win mag and the recoil in that one is pretty stout, but the 7mm isnt bad. No experience with the Savage, but wouldnt trade either of my Tikkas.
