A better way to transport goats in the back of a truck?

I'm only guessing here, but a two-horse trailer should give you ample room. I bought mine used in '92 for under $1,000 and am still using it! I've done all the maintenance myself (brakes, wiring, new floor) and am still using it 26 years later. It's been from Canada to Colorado. She ain't pretty, but fits the budget. Just a thought.

Would extra large dog crates work? Or just build a plywood box big enough to suit your needs. How about a cargo trailer modified. Two horse trailers are usually pretty cheap too. Just throwing out ideas, I use horses.

Creating something like this wouldn't be too expensive.

Thanks for the ideas. I'd like something with wind/weather protection. I thought about building a wood enclosure but keep it light enough to load with one or two guys.

I considered a little stock trailer but then I couldn't pull a camper or atvs.

not to be cute ...........but

I got to ask. atv+ goats =?

I sometimes drag the horses for a couple miles every week behind the atv to air them up.
Good point. Probably won't happen often, but who knows.
