I don’t usually advertise sponsor specials on the Rok Blog but this one was so good, I figured some of you might really appreciate it.  Lathrop & Sons boot company has been a long time Rokslide sponsor and for good reason.  They aren’t just salesmen, but outdoorsmen who wear and sell boots.  Big difference (that is Stephen Lathrop–vice president–pictured above with a great archery Colorado bull).

Friday, I was talking to Stephen when he mentioned he had some good Danner Pronghorn boots he could offer at a closeout price to Rokslide members.  When I heard the price, I knew I had to make room for this post.

If you’re in need of some good early to mid-season boots at 40% off, you need to check these out.  I checked the web and Stephen is not pulling your leg.  At his $115.00 Rokslide special, you can’t find these boots anywhere at a lower price.  Add in the fact that you get a professional on the other end of the line to help fit you, this is a smokin’ deal.

He’s got 16 pair left.  Call for sizing (trust me, you want to call these guys.)  Tell them you saw it on the Rok Blog to get the $115.00 price.

1-618-544-8782 is the number.  They are open Monday-Friday.  If you’re not in the game for these Danner’s, be sure and check out all the top-end boots and services offered at Lathrop & Sons website.

Robby Denning
Robby Denning started hunting mule deer in the late 1970’s, only missing one season in 35 years. At 25, he gave up the pursuit of all other big-game to focus on taking the best bucks possible. He began hunting the West on a DIY budget hunting an average of 30 days a year for mule deer. Robby loves the hunt as much as the kill and the entire process from research to scouting to hunting. He’s killed four bucks over 200 inches in the last 15 seasons, mostly on easily-obtained tags. He owns a public-land scouting service and runs a private-land outfitting business helping other hunters in their pursuit of deer and elk. Robby has scouted and hunted literally thousands of square miles of mule deer country and brings a wealth of knowledge about these experiences with him. To him, the weapon of choice is just a means-to-an-end and will hunt with bow, rifle, or muzzleloader – whatever it takes to create an opportunity to take a great mule deer. He is also the author of "Hunting Big Mule Deer" available on Amazon. Robby believes all of creation is from God for man to manage, respect, and through which to know its Creator
