Have you moved out of state?

Yes, the house I built in 2021 has nearly doubled in valuation and the propetty taxes have more than doubled in three years. Rediculous.

Have you moved out of state?

With over three decades serving "Unc Sam", I have been to forty-eight states and seventeen countries. My wife grew up in WY and we vacationed there for nearly three decades. When I retired we moved to WY. Wyoming is becoming a very purple state, along with most Western states. The politicians...

Ah the mind games we play on ourselves

Before my shoulders went I had no problem killing animals with a 42 lb recurve. I have a buddy that has killed elk, bison, bear, and truckloads of hogs and deer with a 41 lb longbow. When we shot competition together we shot targets to 80 yards. You are fine with 60 lbs.

Talk me into Swaro EL Range TA

Agreed: Leica opted to put the lazer in the center hinge vs in the optic barrel to alleviate that problem. The reason the Geovid Pros won out for me.

Why might my rifle have lost zero

Different cheek weld, different rest, parallex? Barrel perameters,,, clean vs dirty? Just taking stabs here. I hope you get it figured out. Let us know how it goes.

    $329.00 Bugle Tube

Heck, guys buy a special cord to pull their bow/rifle up into a tree stand! Anything for a guy to show his buddies: " Look what I have" seems to sell now. We are a country of unbelieveable wealth and expendable income. I see it every summer and every fall while living here at one of the main...

    New Truck--Dependability

If you have it serviced at the dealer the records are kept by Toyota. You can see the records on your Toyota app on your phone. The app for your phone tells you how many miles on the truck, miles to empty on fuel, whether your doors are locked, tailgate down, etc. Even tells the battery...

Binos and rangefinder or bino/rangefinder combo?

    I would consider this recommendation.

Binos and rangefinder or bino/rangefinder combo?

Leica makes a great stand alone rangefinder. My RF/bino combo has a built in ballistic caculator so it is quite a bit more than your limit... but there are some RF binos within your cap.

    new truck time

Well, because of some state's laws, fog lights cannot be over so many inches off the ground. Because of this, when Toyota installs the factory lift they remove OEM fog lights and replace them with an ugly plastic "plug" which gives the appearance of something missing. After market manufacturers...

    new truck time

I have a problem with not looking at dates on threads... and am not the only one. I did answer some questions for a poster on the thread though, so no harm, no foul.

    new truck time

It is the SR5 with upgrades. I cannot really see needing anything more on it. Has the TRD pkg, tow pkg, hands free calling and nav, heated steering wheel, OnX, etc. I added after market skid plates, side steps, an aluminum folding tonneau cover and amber fog lights. Also some Kryptek seat...

Timney trigger reliability in adverse conditions

I have read reports of Trigger Techs failing when dirty or ice/snow, but not Timneys. I have had Timney triggers on several rifles and none have ever failed me... but I keep my rifles maintained and pretty clean. I hunt hard in dusty, muddy, rainy and snowy conditions, but if I know my rifle...
