$20 hard case at Sam's Club

Thought I'd share this here. Sam's has these cases for $20 and they seem pretty nice for the money. I don't know that I'd say they are as good as a Pelican but for a fraction of the cost, I'll take them. I picked up 3 and I'll be going back for more. The middle layer of foam is the "pick n pull" type stuff. For me, I'll be using them for camera gear, my new camera drone, handguns, etc.

That's a great deal !! I paid more than that just for replacement foam inserts for my Pelican case.

I've also seen mention that there's a trick using Plastidip to firm up the foam once you have it all picked out the way you want. Lots of videos on YouTube on how to do it.

My two came today. Kinda slow shipping. Not pelican but doable for my uses. If was using them hard would stick with pelican. They gave themselves a five rating on the box, not sure of pelican but guessing nine or ten. Now have to find a use for them

Played around with one last night for camera gear. Definitely do the Plastidip spray as it really helps.

Yeah, it makes that PnP foam tolerable a it seals up all the cracks and gives a little rigidity to it.

The photo above is already done. It's hard to see in photos. It's not like it really has a thick coating. Basically it just seals up the cracks and makes it a little more rigid.

These cases are actually big enough that I was able to double up my layers for my trip home for Christmas. You could easily do two layers of handguns.

If I remember, I'll take a close up photo so you can see it better.
