Big bore build, grouse to Cape buffalo

Can you explain what grouse loads are? There is a Facebook page called buck and slug reloaders. I think you will find the members there to be a wealth of knowledge on casting lead. Those guys are real into all things hand loading for shotguns.

Sold VORTEX Kaibab HD 18x56 ($730 OBO, TYD)

These are great glass at a great price. I "upgraded" mine to swaro 15x56 SLCs and I'm not sure it was an upgrade at all. Or maybe I just expected a lot more for twice the price.

    BOWFISHING SETUP?

Cheap used recurve around 45-55 lbs and an ams reel. You will need a strap on bracket for the reel if the bow does not have threaded inserts. Most don't.

    First Lite Challis Fleece Jacket

I'm very interested in it if it is as advertised. I have yet to find dead quiet and windproof. In my experience, manufacturers throw around windproof real willy nilly, when what they really mean is wind resistant. And sometimes barely that.

Can company keep my last bonus?

Good news fellas. An email is all it took. She talked to the partnership and they decided to pay me. Maybe that means the realized it was the decent thing to do. Or maybe they realized they didn't have documentation to back up their justification for not paying me. Either way, I'm happy...

Can company keep my last bonus?

Yea it's a really crummy way the company steals from you if you leave, essentially. Our bonus periods end at end of each month but they pay out on the 15th of next month. There is no way to time quitting and not lose money. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

Can company keep my last bonus?

I sent the relevant individual an email yesterday requesting a signed copy of my pay agreement and any other relevant documents that I signed. I have not heard back yet. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

Can company keep my last bonus?

I requested a copy of my signed offer letter so I can see exactly how it was worded. I can see it going either way. This is a small company that manages large physician practices and ancillaries. I really hoped they would just pay me what I worked for. I went above and beyond for them for 5...

Can company keep my last bonus?

I don't it's worth the trouble of legal involvement for 4k. I just want to make the best possible argument to them to make my case. I think I should request a copy of policies stating these things that I have signed. Which doesn't exist. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

Can company keep my last bonus?

The situation is that I worked for a company for 5 years. I signed a pay agreement when I came on board. It stated my salary and my bonus structure. I was performing a non invasive surgical procedure called ESWL. It was a tiered bonus structure. First 10 cases pay me X a piece. The next 25 pay...

    Don't underestimate old guy strength

I won't disagree with that. But I haven't come across data to support it either. I have done crossfit or crossfit like activities for 10 years. I don't know anyone personally that has been significantly injured or needed surgery. There is risk with all physical activity and there is the large...

    DIY RokStok in maple

I think the problem with milling with a drill press is they lack lateral rigidity. I think you could get by if you kept the spindle minimally extended and kept passes/lateral loading very light. You might even try a sanding drum used like a mill bit just to clean and true a bit. Sent from my...

    Don't underestimate old guy strength

Yep. You know what sport has the highest injury rate? Running. Ever heard anyone talk about how PTs and Orthopedic surgeons love runners? Yea me neither. It's just a phrase that people love to parrot. Do people get hurt doing CF? Of course they do. I work in radiology. People get hurt doing...

    Don't underestimate old guy strength

No one's hates on butterfly/skipping pull-ups, like guys that have never done them. They have their place. No they aren't a substitute for strict pull ups. But in a crossfit type workout, when you hit failure on strict pull-ups, you are pretty much done. Butterflies allow you to keep the...

    DIY RokStok in maple

Nice work. Where you drilled the large holes to remove the bulk of the material, if you use a drill press you can overlap your holes easily. This leaves just a bit of material to clean up on the sides. If you don't have a drill press, I suppose that doesn't help. I was removing material...

    WTS Bushnell elite

There is a guy on here that has been looking for a Bushnell elite for a long time. I've never seen someone bump a WTB thread so many times. He is persistent. I will give him that.

Recommendations for stove jack for tent

Bear paw designs is I believe the name of a company thay sells stove jacks for tents. It's bear paw something. I'm not sure if you can glue them to silnylon or not but you could get a sew shop to do it for a few bucks probably.

    DIY game bag material

Yea it washes just fine. It may stain but that's it. @Felix40 was selling some on the side for a while. He can probably tell you what he was using. I've used his bags and ones that I have made. No issues. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
